Airfob Space hits the 100th coworking spaces milestone in Korea.
After just three years since its launch, Airfob Space has been rolled out to 100 coworking spaces nationwide, including all 44 FastFive locations, as well as DreamPlus, SugarManWorks, DreamCatchers, and A’BOUT.
Airfob Space, the world’s most scalable cloud access control solution, has surpassed the 100th space deployment milestone in the Korean coworking market. Airfob Space is an ACaaS (Access Control as a Service) solution for property managers that enables them to remotely issue mobile access cards to employees or visitors’ smartphones. Airfob provides a new paradigm for office management that enables convenient and safe entry using the tool we always carry in our pocket, smartphones. This removes the need for carrying RFID cards or remembering PIN codes.
MOCA System, the company behind Airfob Space has, since the product’s launch in 2021, been steadily implementing its future-proof access control system to major coworking spaces in Korea. This includes all branches of Fast Five, the country’s leading coworking brand, as well as DreamPlus, SugarManWork, and Dreamcatchers.
In addition, Airfob provides mobile access control solutions for Kakao New Building in Pangyo, Lotte Tower in Jamsil (tallest building in Korea), Hyundai Motor Group Headquarters in Yangjae, and the Ministry of Public Safety in Sejong City, and has recently entered the shared entrance business in residential properties through a collaboration with Hanwha Vision, a global security solution provider.
Airfob also partnered with S&I Corp., a leading space management solution provider, to enhance users’ workplace experience through S&I’s SANDI app integration. This integration uses Airfob’s mobile credentials in pair with SANDI’s employee ID to power building access control, mobile payment for corporate restaurants, multifunctional machine activation (printers, coffee machines, vending machines…), and meeting room reservation.
Jay Hwang Head of Domestic Business Team at MOCA System.
"The demand for cloud service-based access control solutions is growing rapidly in the market. There are advantages that only the cloud can provide. For example, space managers can unify their access control policies, their access levels for different zones or working hours, as well as remotely issue and revoke accesses."
The cloud-based mobile access control market is a new industry of the Fourth Industrial Revolution that is expected to grow at an average annual growth rate of more than 10% every year, and MOCA System’s Airfob Space enables property managers to conveniently manage access anytime and anywhere. Airfob enables them to operate their spaces efficiently, as well as reduce overall operating costs through easy visitor management and the elimination of physical cards, enabling the simple and straightforward digital transformation of the spaces where we live, work, and play.
