APPLE WALLET
App-free access control, now in Apple Wallet.
Airfob’s Apple Wallet integration lets users store access credentials directly in Apple Wallet for seamless, secure entry with just a tap of their iPhone or Apple Watch. This feature enhances user convenience while maintaining robust privacy and administrative control.
HOW IT WORKS
Your iPhone is the key.
Simply hold your iPhone near the Airfob Edge Reader to unlock the door. This provides a quick, secure way to enter your workplace, coworking space, or facility with just a tap.
KEY BENEFITS
Open the door to a seamless experience.
Enter facilities without the need to search for an app or even unlock your screen. Offer a user experience that finally keeps pace with today’s mobile lifestyle.
No app required
Access doors directly from Apple Wallet. Just hold your iPhone near the Airfob Edge Reader for entry—no app needed, enhancing both security and simplicity.
Express mode
Users can use Express Mode, allowing them to unlock doors without needing to open or unlock their device, making entry smooth and quick.
Power reserve mode
If the device battery is low, users can still access doors for up to five hours with Power Reserve Mode, ensuring uninterrupted access even in unexpected situations.
APPLE WATCH
Access at the flick of your wrist.
Your Apple Wallet automatically syncs to your Apple Watch. When approaching a door, simply hold the Watch near the Airfob Edge Reader. Entry is instant, no need to press additional buttons or interact with the screen.
SECURITY
Built-in privacy for every entry.
Your Apple Wallet takes security seriously, providing users with robust features designed to protect their credentials and maintain privacy.
Native security
Apple Wallet’s native security, such as face or fingerprint authentication, ensures that only authorized users have access. If a device is lost, Airfob credentials can be immediately suspended for added security.
Data privacy
Credentials remain stored securely on the user’s device; access data isn’t shared with Apple, keeping user movements private. Indeed, only Airfob Admins can monitor users logs and activities.
Seamless tokenization
Instead of using the actual credential data, Apple assigns a unique and encrypted “token” that obfuscates the credential during each use, reducing the risk of data breaches.
ACCESS MANAGEMENT
Simplify access management for admins.
With Apple Wallet and Airfob, administrators can handle access control seamlessly and remotely, reducing workload, while users enjoy a fast, self-serve entry experience.
Instant remote
onboarding
Credentials can be instantly shared through Airfob Pro’s platform, eliminating wait times for physical keycards or setup delays.
Self-onboarding
for users
Airfob users can receive an Apple Wallet credential directly through the Airfob Space mobile app. This option simplifies the transition to app-less credentials.
Simplified visitor
management
Credentials can also be issued temporarily to manage visitors coming in and out of your sites. After the expiration date is passed, visitors’ access will be automatically revoked.
Unified credential
platform
Instead of carrying a collection of RFID cards and keys or remembering pin codes, Airfob lets you manage seamlessly all your mobile access cards in one place.
