CHALLENGE
iCo Creative faced the challenge of providing a secure, self-sufficient access control system for a coworking space without on-site management. iCo needed a system that allowed 24/7 access to its members without the need for front desk staff, enabling seamless interaction between the space and its users.
Additionally, with the founders often off-site or even overseas, they required a solution that could be managed remotely. Previous solutions they explored were limited by server-based management and lacked the flexibility they needed, such as granting temporary access or monitoring who enters the space.
Airfob provided iCo Creative with a cloud-based access control system that addressed their specific needs. With Airfob Edge Readers installed at entry points and Airfob Patches integrated with printers, iCo was able to offer seamless access to members and staff using mobile credentials. The fully cloud-based solution allowed iCo Creative to manage everything remotely—from granting access to monitoring usage—without ever having to be on-site.

With the success of Airfob’s integration into their coworking space, iCo Creative is looking to expand its use of smart access control. Plans include integrating Airfob’s system into additional office spaces and exploring more IoT solutions that could further enhance the coworking experience for their members.
